These are a few of my favorite things:
BYU.edu - I got my education in art and animation at Brigham Young University in Provo, Utah. I still don't really understand how I got in, but it was an incredible experience where I learned with and from some of the most amazing people I've even met.
peepandthebigwideworld.com - I love this show. It's a cartoon series for kids about a little bird named Peep and is all about exploring your world with friends and learning new things. I first saw this cartoon while we were in the hospital with our first baby.
e-cards.com - I do regular work for e-cards.com. You can find some really fun e-cards there to send to your friends and family.
shadowbox-js.com - Shadowbox is the media viewer I've used in the creation of this site. You can see some of the things it can do on my site then get more information at the Shadowbox site if you'd like to learn how to use it for your own website.
woogiworld.com - I've worked for Woogi World and highly recommend them to parents who want a safe and educational place for their children to spend time online.
bomtoons.com - These guys are incredible game makers and the stuff they create is hilarious.
languageisland.com - I'm a huge supporter of language learning. Communication is a skill of great value and one that I work constantly to improve in myself and strive to teach others. I do design and animation work for Language Island.
wadjeteyegames.com - Dave Gilbert is a creative genius and a super friendly guy. I've had the opportunity to work with him on three projects. If you're looking for an indie game developer, I highly recommend taking a look at his site.
getsmartoregon.org - I'm a supporter and volunteer for the SMART program at a local school where I live. It's an incredible reading program that unites adults with children in education. I get to help kids learn how to read while getting exposed to all kinds of great creative ideas.
cartoonsolutions.com - I got my start as an animator working for Ryan Simmons at Cartoon Solutions. Ryan is an incredible animator and taught me most of what I know about Flash Animation. He sells ast assets that can be used in Flash, Photoshop, Anime Studio, and PowerPoint.
alldrawnout.blogspot.com - Ron Jensen is a good friend of mine. He's a talented artist and animator and always does a great job.

Drawing tablets plug into your computer and allow you draw, paint, and animate, with precision and control. I use a Wacom Intuos 3. I recommend the Bamboo for those just starting out. If you shop around online, you can usually find them for around $50.
